Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into fame in 1994, after she debuted her first album Age Ain't nothing but a number. At the time, she was just 15 years old. the time and the album was later renamed Gold. It was made as an album that was heavily in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the spotlight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland joined forces to record her sophomore album One In A Million. The album included the track If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the number one. Following the release of this work Aaliyah gained international attention for her work as an R&B performer. Aaliyah starred alongside the legendary Jet-Li, the famous martial artist in Romeo Must Die (2000), an action and romantic film. Her role came about following an interview with producer Joel Silver at an awards show. The year 2002 was the time she appeared as part of the Anne Rice-based horror film Queen of the Damned. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She had also appeared in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions (2007). She received four Grammy nominations for 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is of Indian heritage and was born Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her husband's last name Mankad. But, she has both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for professional names. Her acting career began in mid-2000's with minor roles on TV and films. Apart from The Big Bang Theory her other notable works are Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). She has also been featured in advertisements for major brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. Her daughter resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
